UHF labels

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) labels are used for identifying and tracking products and assets. These labels contain an integrated RFID chip that transmits and receives data via radio waves, without the need for physical contact with a scanner or reader. Most of our RFID labels operate on ultra-high frequency (UHF), meaning they can be read from several meters away. Explore our range of RFID labels below and find the most suitable option for your application.

Why UHF RFID labels?

Our UHF labels operate at frequencies between 865 and 868 MHz (EU) and offer a long read range, allowing multiple labels to be scanned simultaneously and from a distance. RFID labels use radio waves to exchange data wirelessly with an RFID reader or scanner. Each label contains an RFID chip and an antenna that work together to transmit information. Because RFID does not require direct contact, labels can be read easily, even when they are located behind objects or stored in large quantities.

Which UHF label do I need?

Choosing the right UHF label depends on the application, the surface, the required read range, and the environment. For example, there are labels with a protective laminate for outdoor use, such as our RFID Print & Laminate labels, as well as extra robust labels for industrial environments, such as our HardTags.
