Want to print your own wire labels? Our labels for wire and conductor identification can be fully printed in-house using the ATP-300 Pro. This is the ultimate industrial desktop label printer, capable of handling all the label materials mentioned above, whether you’re printing ADS(C) Sleeves, Wire labels, Flag labels, or Wire tags.
Coding and marking wires and conductors is essential for managing technical installations. Clear wire marking lets you know exactly which wire serves which function, simplifying maintenance and speeding up troubleshooting. Installers can quickly find the correct wire, reducing the chance of errors and increasing efficiency. By coding and marking wires, everything remains organized, even in the most complex systems.
Why use wire labels?
Our printable Heat shrink sleeves, also known as sleeves, are a commonly used solution for wire identification. You slide the sleeves over a wire or cable and shrink them until they fit firmly. Our ADS Sleeves and ADSC Sleeves come in various colors and sizes and feature a 3:1 shrink ratio. They are also halogen-free, low smoke, and flame-retardant.
In addition to heat shrink sleeves, you can also choose another form of wire marking: Wire labels. These labels can be applied in three different ways: horizontally, vertically, or as a flag. With one type of label, you can label wires and cables from 1 to 6 mm in diameter — for example, fiber optic cables (3 mm) or UTP cables (5 mm). Thanks to their flexible material, wire labels are also ideal for thinner wires.
Flag labels are specifically designed for fiber optic identification. Their foldable design creates a prominent ‘P’ or ‘T’ shaped marking, ensuring the identification is always clearly visible to users.
Wire tags are an ideal solution when you prefer not to use cable ties or adhesive options. With this type of wire identification, you thread the wire through the two holes of the tag, keeping your marking clearly visible at all times.
