Printable heat shrink sleeve are the most well-known form of wire identification. You slide a heat shrink sleeve over a wire and then use a heat source to shrink the label so that it fits perfectly around the wire. This is an efficient way to quickly identify wires in control cabinets. It also serves as a reference point during maintenance and repairs. ADSC Sleeves have a 3:1 shrink ratio, are flame-retardant, and are available in various colors. These labels comply with multiple certifications for aerospace (SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5, SAE AS-5942, Airbus NSA 937201) as well as the defense and railway industries (MIL 202 Method 215K, NFPA 130).
