ASML uses Barcode Identification (BID) labels to be able to identify relevant parts and modules in the physical world and log their data and metadata digitally. BID labels are printed via the ASML Barcode Portal. ASML has approved Altec as a viable supplier for the printers, labels and ribbons needed to print the BID labels. For more information on the ASML Barcode project, please contact your ASML Representative. Orders for printers, labels and ribbons can be placed easily and quickly in our online shop asmlbarcodeproject.com.
The Altec Cloud Connector links your printers to the ASML Barcode Portal and makes sure the labels are always printed with the right settings for an optimal print result. To prepare your printer for the Barcode Portal, download the Altec Cloud Connector and follow the steps mentioned in the download instructions.
After generating the labels, the label settings section will be displayed. Please make sure the correct settings are chosen from the dropdown menus before pressing the “Print labels” button.
